The P.A.T.H. (Practical and Tactical Handcuffing) program is based on sound principles that emphasize simplicity. The techniques are easy to remember and apply in real-life situations. Concepts to be covered include: handcuff nomenclature, handcuffing grip, handcuffing stance and approach, handcuffing compliant and non-compliant suspects, directing to prone control, prone handcuffing, disengaging strategies, removing the handcuffs, standing a prone handcuffed subject, and more.
This six hour course is the most complete and innovative handcuffing course in the country. The techniques presented are practical and effective. Upon successful completion of the testing criteria, students will be certified in the PATHTM Basic course.
